ALAIN TERZIAN PRESIDENT OF CESARS ACADEMY UNVEILS THE NOMINATIONS FOR 2017----------------------- Alain Terzian, President of the Academy, unveils the results of the list of the nominees to the Cesar´s edition of 2017 at the Press Conference given on Wednesday, January 25th 2017 at the Le Fouquet's restaurant,alongside Jérôme Commandeur the Master of Ceremonies. The results were dumped during the night by Voxaly, under the supervision of a bailiff. To start with, Alain Terzian, congratulates Isabelle Huppert for her nomination to the Oscars, best actress category. The French actress Isabelle Huppert, was rewarded last week in Los Angeles by the Golden Globe of the best actress for her role as a woman raped in “Elle“ by Paul Verhoeven. She, then, was the invited Monday evening by the French Minister of Culture, Audrey Azoulay, on the occasion of the handing Of the "French Cinema Award" created by UniFrance in charge of promoting French cinema abroad. THE CESAR RACE IS NOW OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED UNVEILING 11 NOMINATIONS------------------------------------ The Cesar race is officially launched, and without surprises, Paul Verhoeven's Elle is one of the favorites of the competition with 11 nominations, including Best Actress for Isabelle Huppert, who is also in the running for the Oscar 2017.
